Topic-specific parallel session

Workshops

Topic-specific parallel sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

Several parallel sessions will run concurrently.

The number of sessions each day will depend on the number and quality of proposals received.

Parallel sessions must follow a common format (5 min introduction, 5 x 15 min talks, 10 min discussion) to allow delegates to move between sessions.

Each parallel session will be 1.5 hours.

Proposals must be submitted using the official PARALLEL SESSION APPLICATION FORM

Workshops will be held on Tuesday afternoon.

Several workshops will run concurrently.  The number of workshops will depend on the number and quality of proposals received.

Workshop organizers are encouraged to develop an interactive program and actively involve participants.

Workshops will be 3 hours (including a 30 min afternoon coffee break).

Proposals must be submitted using the official WORKSHOP APPLICATION FORM

Parallel session and workshop chairs are fully responsible for identifying, contacting, and coordinating the participation of speakers.  A ISBR2025 Scientific Program Committee member will partner with Chairs to help you stay connected and aware of timelines and deliverables. 

Please note:

• There is no funding to support registration, travel, or accommodation of Chairs or speakers. 
• All participation in ISBR2025 sessions depends on the submission, peer-review and acceptance of an abstract by the ISBR 2025 Scientific Program Committee.
• Abstracts of accepted proposals will be published on the symposium website. 
• The ISBR 2025 Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to, in consultation with the organizers, allocate relevant talks from the open call to these sessions.
• The primary session organizer/chair and all speakers/participants must register for the symposium.
• The ISBR 2025 symposium will be 100% in-person (with no virtual component). Speakers are expected to attend the ISBR symposium in-person to deliver their presentation.
